Privacy Policy
Nooda is an Arabic voice place, and your privacy is part of its architecture rather than a clause in its paperwork. This page explains — in plain language — what we collect, why, who processes it with us, and what your full rights over it are. The rule we build on: your data is not a product — we do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
1. What do we collect?
Account data
When you sign up we collect your phone number (to verify you with a code sent over WhatsApp or SMS), your display name, your photo if you add one, and the interests you choose. Signing in with Google or Apple passes us only your account identifier, your name, and your email from the provider.
Voice
Your voice in gatherings is streamed live through an audio streaming provider and is not stored with us, unless recording has been enabled for the gathering — and recording is a decision made by the people of the gathering, announced to everyone present before it begins. A recorded gathering is kept so that it can be replayed, and a written transcript can be produced from it.
Content and use
What you publish in the farms (posts, images, comments), the gatherings you attend, the farms you live in, and who you follow — we use these to run the place and to arrange your walkway. A post you choose to publish on nooda.app becomes public on the web and may be indexed by search engines, and that remains your choice alone: you can withdraw it from the web whenever you wish.
Technical data
Basic operational logs (IP address, device type and operating system, sign-in times) that we need for the security of the service and to prevent abuse.
2. Why do we use it?
- Running the place: your account, your gatherings, your farms, your messages.
- Guidance: suggesting gatherings, farms, and people that share what you care about — inside Nooda only, as we do not track you outside the place.
- Safety: protecting gatherings from abuse, impersonation, and fraud.
- Communication: essential operational messages (your entry code, alerts about your account). No marketing newsletters without your explicit consent.
3. Who processes the data with us?
We rely on technical providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions, each with a defined role:
- Verification by message: a trusted communications provider — to deliver the verification code to your phone.
- Live audio streaming: a specialist audio streaming provider — to carry the voices of a gathering between those present.
- Media storage: a secure cloud storage provider — for images and recordings, behind private links rather than public ones.
- Transcription: a text-processing provider — to turn recorded (and announced) gatherings into text when that is requested.
- Hosting: our servers and our database are in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).
We do not share your data with any other party unless the law obliges us to.
4. How long do we keep it?
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our operational systems within 30 days, and encrypted backups may remain for a maximum of 90 days before they are gone for good. Announced recordings you took part in belong to their gathering; the link between them and your identity is removed when you delete your account.
5. Your rights
- Access: you may request a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correction: you may edit your account details from inside the app whenever you wish.
- Deletion: you may delete your account from the app settings, or write to us and we will delete it.
- Objection and withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting anything done before the withdrawal.

6. Cookies on this site
The nooda.app site uses only the minimum necessary for it to work. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no analytics tools trading on your visits.
7. Minors
Nooda is for those aged 17 and over. If we learn of an account below that age, we delete it.
8. Data security
We use encryption in transit, additional encryption for sensitive data at rest, and the principle of least privilege for internal access. And because honesty is the foundation of this place: no system on earth is perfectly secure — and if anything happens that touches your data, we will tell you directly and without evasion.
9. Changes to this policy
Nooda is being built and is still developing, and this page develops with it. Material changes are announced here and inside the app before they take effect, and the date of the last update always appears at the top of the page.
