Why Nooda

For them, voice is a feature.
For us, voice is the place.

Plenty tried voice before us: X Spaces, TikTok Live, Clubhouse. Every one of them attached voice to a platform built for something else — argument, or entertainment, or the wave of the moment. No one built voice a place that people could live in. That is the whole difference, and here it is in detail.

Against social media as a whole

  • No endless scroll. The Walkway has a beginning and an end, like a real road — you walk it, then you sit down. The platforms want you scrolling forever; we want you to arrive.
  • No algorithm trading on your emotions. What is suggested to you is suggested because it resembles you, not because it will provoke you or keep you hooked. We measure belonging, not "watch time".
  • Voice, not performance. No filters, no editing, no staged life to measure your own against — your voice as it is, and that alone changes the way people talk to each other.
  • A place with a memory. On the platforms, whatever passed is dead and buried under the feed. On Nooda, your farm remembers you: its past gatherings, its people, its seasons.
The direct comparison

And against the other attempts at voice?

We respect everyone who opened a door for voice — but look at what voice was for them, and what it is here:

Nooda X Spaces TikTok Live Clubhouse
What is it, really? An independent place built for voice from the first stone A feature attached to a platform built on argument A broadcast tool on top of a platform built on short clips A voice-rooms app that was the wave of 2021
The community Lasting farms: identity, memory, and people known by name A passing audience that arrives with the trend and leaves with it Momentary spectators, where interaction means gifts and numbers Rooms that end when the talking ends, leaving no trace
After the gathering ends It stays in the memory of its farm — recorded and transcribed only by its people's decision and announcement It sinks into a merciless feed The broadcast is measured in gifts, then forgotten Nothing remains
The algorithm It guides you toward what resembles you — we measure belonging, not hours Built on stirring argument and outrage Built on addiction and scrolling It could not save it once the wave died down
Arabic The root of the design: the direction, the vocabulary, the manners of a gathering An interface translation over foreign logic An interface translation over foreign logic Always an afterthought
Why do people come in? To sit, to talk, and to find their own people To follow today's fight For a minute of amusement… which turns into two hours They came in curious in 2021, then never came back

And for the accuracy we hold ourselves to: what we say about Clubhouse is documented fact — the scraping incident that exposed 1.3 million accounts in April 2021, its blocking in several countries including China and Oman, and the sharp fall in its use after the 2021 bubble. What we say about the other platforms describes the nature of their design as they state it themselves: feeds, trends, and entertainment broadcasts. We learn from everyone — and build what no one has built.

Hear the difference for yourself.

None of these words is worth one minute inside a real gathering.
