Terms and Conditions
1. What is this agreement?
These terms govern your use of the Nooda app and its website (nooda.app). Entering the place — whether by browsing or with an account — means you accept them and the Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use Nooda.
2. Eligibility and your account
- Nooda is for those aged 17 and over.
- You sign up with a valid phone number that belongs to you, and your account is your responsibility: whatever comes from it is attributed to you, and you must tell us at once if you suspect it has been compromised.
- One account per person, under an identity that impersonates no one.
- Nooda is currently at an early stage of building and entry is by invitation (an invite code) — the invitation is personal, may not be sold or traded, and we may cancel any invitation that is misused.
3. The manners of the place
Nooda is made of gatherings, and gatherings have their manners. The following is strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, abuse, bullying and threats, and hate speech or incitement to violence.
- Impersonating people or organisations, and publishing other people's private information without their permission.
- Unlawful content, fraud, unsolicited messages (spam), and exploiting the place commercially without an agreement with us.
- Any attempt to breach or disrupt the service, or to gain unauthorised access to other people's data.
Farm moderators may run their own gatherings (muting, removing people, taking down content) within these terms, and the Nooda team may step in when they are broken — from a warning up to ending the account, according to the gravity of the breach.
4. Voice and recording
- Gatherings are not recorded by default — what is said in a gathering stays in that gathering.
- Recording is decided by the people of the gathering and announced to everyone present before it begins; staying in a gathering announced as recorded means you consent to the recording.
- Recording gatherings or rebroadcasting them with external tools without the explicit permission of their people is prohibited — it is a fundamental breach of these terms and of the trust of the gathering.
5. Your content and its ownership
What you create on Nooda (your voice, your posts, your images) remains yours. You grant us — only as far as running the service requires — a licence to store it, process it, and display it to those you directed it to inside the place. And if you choose to publish a post on nooda.app, you permit it to be displayed publicly on the web and indexed, and you keep the right to withdraw it whenever you wish. We do not sell your content and we do not use it in advertising.
6. How the service develops
Nooda is developing all the time: features are added, features improve, and features may change, and we do our utmost to keep the place stable and safe. Even so, the service is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties, as far as the law allows.
7. Paid services
Nooda is free at its core. If optional paid features are launched in the future (support, subscriptions, items inside the place), their terms and prices will be announced clearly before any payment, and intrusive advertising will never be our model.
8. Ending an account
You may delete your account whenever you wish from the app settings. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, stating the reason wherever possible. Clauses that by their nature must survive (ownership, limits of liability) remain in force after termination.
9. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the service or from being unable to use it. What speakers say in gatherings expresses them and not us — even so, we take reports seriously and act on them.
10. Amendments to these terms
We may update these terms as Nooda develops. Material changes are announced on this page and inside the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Nooda after they take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws in force at Nooda's registered seat, which will be announced on this page before the public launch. Until then, we hold ourselves before you to the spirit of these terms, in letter and in fairness.
12. Contact us
For any question about these terms: info@nooda.app or through the contact page.
